I was born and raised in Vancouver, Wa. which is where I met my husband 23 years ago. We have 2 boys, the oldest is 22 and our youngest is 10. We have a shih-tzu named Maverick and a cat who adopted us about 12 years ago, named Olive. We relocated to Eugene in 2003 for my husband’s work and quickly made it our home. We fell in love with Oregon Duck football and became season ticket holders. Our youngest son is very active in athletics, which we support wholeheartedly. In our spare time, we enjoy RV-ing and spending time with family and friends.

We learned a lot about the public school system with our 22 year old. We started our youngest in public school. When I heard my son being shamed by his teacher on zoom (Covid distance learning) for referring to God, I knew it was time to act. We found Willamette Christian School in 2021 and followed them to their new location, City First Christian Academy. The curriculum is challenging, and the faith-based education is exactly in line with our values. This is my first year working at City First Christian Academy. I enjoy being able to celebrate God with the students and the City First Christian Academy family.
