What would you tell someone who is looking at CFCA for their child?

CFCA is more than a school. Every person here not only wants to teach your child, they also want to see them succeed. Your kids aren’t just a number in a class, they’re family.

We came to CFCA (formerly WCS) in January of 2016. We love all the teachers at City First because first, they love Jesus, and second, they love the kids. The smaller class sizes allow teachers to get to know and really work with your child and their way of learning. The fact that our kids can learn about and worship God in school is amazing. Also, the daily PE and multiple recesses are a bonus to keeping kids active and healthy. A great thing is that this school is so ethnically diverse. My kids learn about other cultures/backgrounds.

My favorite memories are being able to go on field trips to meet my child’s friends in their class. Also, seeing the joy on their faces when they are having fun while learning. My second favorite thing is reading my child’s homework when they write in cursive. I love the prayers and support you feel from teachers and staff. I am able to go to work every day knowing without a doubt my kids are safe while at school.

Our daughter started at CFCA (WCS) in 2017 for preschool.  We immediately fell in love with the staff and the environment they created for the children. Our daughter is now in 3rd grade, our son is in 1st grade, and every teacher they have had has been amazing and dedicated to each child’s education.

My favorite memory since my kids have been going to CFCA is one day my son was having a tough day in preschool, and our son’s teacher called our daughter’s teacher to have our daughter come in and comfort him.  At that moment, I knew that my kids would be in good hands and that I didn’t need to worry about them when they were at school.

To all of the families that are considering CFCA for your child, just know that this isn’t just a school but a family that you and your child will be welcomed into. Everyone at CFCA is there because they love what they do, and your child will thrive in this school.
