Board of Directors

Regular meetings of the Board of Directors are held the second Monday of each month at 6:30 pm at Willamette Christian School.

During the summer months board meetings are scheduled based upon the board of directors schedules and availability. Board meetings will remain open to the public in the summer but meetings will mostly be executive (closed) sessions.

Upcoming Meetings:
August – no board meeting

Parents, staff and community members are invited to join in this monthly gathering, if you have a desire to observe the work that is being done to ensure that WCS is a place where students are empowered to see the God-given gifts and purpose they have within. Willamette Christian School Board meetings are open to the public during general session. The general session is often followed by an executive session, which is closed to the public to address sensitive or discretionary topics.

How to make a motion – disabled at school request

A motion is a request, or proposal, for the board to take action on an issue. The different types of motions include modifying a resolution, deferring action on a motion, suppress debate on an issue, suppress questioning of a motion, reconsider a question and prevent voting on a motion. A motion approved by the board becomes a resolution. Although the board gives verbal approval at the meeting, all resolutions must be in writing.

To ensure adequate time for discussion and review, the board requests that desired motions be submitted at least one week in advance of a board meeting. This will allow the board to address necessary topics and include them on the agenda. Individuals can complete the motion request form, below. Motions added to the board meeting agenda will then have time allotted for the requesting individual to formally present the motion to the board at the meeting, as time allows.

Yes, I would like to make a motion request!
