Josh Bidwell

Josh Bidwell is passionate about the school for many reasons. On the first day he brought his first child to Willamette Christian School, nine years ago, he and his wife were “absolutely blown away” by the culture created by the teachers, staff and families. It was, and still is, one of the warmest and caring environments he has experienced. All four of the Bidwell children attend WCS.

From kindergarten through eighth grade, he feels that WCS teachers are not only exceptional instructors, they also create an incredibly personal relationship with every student to ensure each child is cared for and developed—not only as a student but as a person. This type of deeply personal care, combined with small classroom settings, is also a major reason the Bidwells are so passionate about the school.

Besides Josh’s WCS board leadership, he works as a volunteer chaplain for the University of Oregon football team. He also works as a real estate broker with Keller Williams Realty Eugene/Springfield. He and his wife, Bethany, have children who are involved in many activities at WCS, including sports, theater, choir and band. They love spending time together as a family, going on hikes, vacations, bike rides or simply lounging around the house watching a show or playing games.
