Estee Richter
MS Science
Ms. Richter joined City First Christian Academy in the fall of 2022. She teaches Middle School Science and the Middle School Spanish elective. She has a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. She graduated Suma Cum Laude with her K-8 Teaching Credential with an English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) endorsement in 2011. She has previously taught 3rd and 4th grade but loves the change to middle school and focusing on a single core subject!
She enjoys providing hands-on learning activities. Some of her favorite labs involve building 3D models of cells and DNA, exploring the inner workings of microscopes, and any kind of chemistry! She also loves to incorporate cross-curricular activities that promote reading, writing, and mathematical reasoning skills. The 8th-grade students write an argumentative essay in which they present the evidence for intelligent design!
She loves seeking God’s wisdom in a world full of confusion and showing her students that God’s inerrant word should always be our source of truth along with the illumination of the Holy Spirit.
Ms. Richter loves working at CFCA because she appreciates the small class sizes and feels that she has the time to know the students well and meet their individual needs. She says that even compared to the other Christian schools she has worked at, there is something unique here. These teachers can’t help but pour out Christ’s love and truth to everyone whether it be other staff, parents, or students, because they seek Christ wholeheartedly and on a daily basis.
